Ultimate Builders Build (1)
How long will it take to build my new home?

Once your house plans have been approved by Council, the physical build can commence.  The process typically takes 16 to 18 weeks to complete.

Can I visit the building site?

Once the build is underway we will invite you to join us for site meetings at various stages throughout the process.  These stages are:

  • Frames up
  • Roof on / Electrical walkthrough
  • Cladding and joinery installation
  • GIB installation
  • Painting / Kitchen and flooring installation / Bathroom fit off
  • Final walkthrough

For the safety of everyone involved in the process, the first time you attend site we will provide you with a Health and Safety induction.  Throughout the process, it is important that every time you attend the site you meet with either the Construction Manager or Client Liaison.

Who do I deal with throughout the process?

Sarah Powell

Sarah Powell - Client Liaison

Sarah will be your point of contact throughout this entire process and will act as your liaison.  Any questions you have can be directed through Sarah - 021 147 1268.

How do I know that the build is built to standard?

There are many checks done throughout the whole build process so you can have peace of mind that your house is built to the highest standard.

We have an internal quality control process where we implement checks at each stage of the build process.  Council also have their own process for inspections while under construction as well as a final completion of your home.  You will also have the opportunity at site visits to undertake your own quality checks.

We are New Zealand Certified Builders (NZCB).
